The Edge sits right next to Trinity Bay Lookout, facing the beach and township of Port Douglas in Queensland, Australia. If I had to use three words to describe it, they are: solid, large, and breathtaking. The wide, gray interior and high ceiling live up to the modern-contemporary aesthetic architect Charles Wright envisioned. And when you pair that with a cinematic view of the coast and its palm trees, it becomes even more beautiful.
What’s more, it is nearby two UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. So, not only will you take delight in a laid-back, tropical stay, but you’ll also get the chance to visit natural wonders.
The Edge also has fully equipped facilities for small occasions and long and short vacations to relax with your partner, guests, or family and friends. Its 10-metre heated lap pool, massage, and tour packages are just some of the many features the place offers.
However, the most appealing part of the venue is the location itself. Though it’s close to the town and other tourist areas you can enjoy, the property is still far enough from its neighbourhood to give you privacy.
