This styled Gold Creek Station Wedding was done to help show you this stunning and rustic Canberra Wedding Venue! If you’re looking for something with a little bit of rustic, earthy, farm goodness, look no further.
Located just outside the North of Canberra, Gold Creek Station is located just before you enter the quaint town of Hall. If you’ve ever been to Hall, you’ll know just how perfectly it encompasses the country living ethos. The small town is home to small post offices, bars covered with wood, and even a sweet shop.
So how apt it is that Gold Creek Station is located just a stone throws away from here.
The first thing that will strike you with Gold Creek Station is the main house itself. This gorgeous structure was hand-built and is absolutely draped in rustic style from the entrance to the shearing shed. You’ll notice the details of this venue are impeccable, from the stained glass at the front of the house, to the old tools in the bar area.
If you’re looking at a Gold Creek Station Wedding, you’ll find one of the most appealing parts of it no doubt are the fact that there is so much space. Areas range from having the main house to a giant broken window set against a tree to the fully functional shearing shed, to the main attraction for many brides; the ceremony field.
Craig, the owner of Gold Creek Station, has put a hell of a lot of effort into the renovation and upkeep of Gold Creek Station, and it shows. I met Craig back a couple of months ago, and at the time Craig had the most fantastic plans to have a small ceremony stand, complete with stained glass. He wanted to get an understanding of what brides cared about when it came to having a rustic style to their wedding. I was back before I knew it to see the fruits of his labour and my god. You have to see it to fully experience how awesome it looks, and feels.
You’ll see the stunning ceremony field, complete with pews, and the ceremony stands in the images below.
This styled Gold Creek Station Wedding was done with two looks and with an incredible team. Styled sessions like this are perfect at giving you a bit of an idea of what you can do on your wedding day, and just how excellent venues like this look.
My big advice to couples who want a rustic venue with everything and the kitchen sink included is to get on this and contact Craig today.
